Open it and use it for daily cooking. One thing you DON'T want in your preps is something you are not used to eating, don't know how to prepare, etc. Store what you eat. Eat what you store.

Anchor is a New Zealand brand isn't it? Should be good. I'd open it and try it you could be onto a winner, then you can share the news with the rest of us.

Yeah, it's NZ, which is why I bought it. Eventually, I'll open it and try it out in shakes and cooking since it expires end of next year. Just came back from the Philippines and backed up the truck on a lot of preps for about 1/3 the cost had I done it in the US. You don't realize how much inflation is eating away at this country until you go to a place like that. Just to give you an idea, I bought a whole bag of fresh produce--okra, greens, greenbeans--for less than 5 dollars, and it was all what we'd call organic, and most people over there, at least in the countryside, still have small gardens with at least a few items, and of course, there's all that fresh coconut growing everywhere.

we get Anchor down here in Oz. I didn't know they did milk powder. Never seen it. I use a dutch or maybe its danish brand. But would rather buy local. Anchor is a good quality brand. About middle road for cost. They have a range of products, flours, vinegars, cordials. The brand has been around many many years. At least for all of mine I would guess.
